Mamiya 7II 150mm f4.5

I can say that this is an amazing camera after shooting only eight shots during Ben and Miranda's wedding. The camera handles like a 35mm and was easy to frame and to focus. The lens is amazingly sharp providing fantastic tonal quality. I especially like 120 Ilford 400 XP2 film. I look forward to shooting my next roll, but will be looking to buying 220 film instead if I can find some--that way I can shoot 20 frames before changing the roll.

Developing and CD proofs were done at Don's Photo for under 18 dollars and now I have negatives that can be scanned or enlarged whenever needed. JZ.

MAMIYA MF FILM

Well looks like I'm going back to film this time medium format. Needed something new to play around with. I will have to see about the rangefinder calibrations once it arrives. Chinese Pavilion - Folkfest 2009

Well Folkfest has come to an end and what an amazing 3 days it was. I found it refreshing to be out doing photography in support of the community. Thank you to all those who came out to support Saskatchewan's Children's Hospital Foundation. With your generous donations we reached a total of just over $800.00.


I hope everyone had fun and are enjoying the photos. I'm sure Mayor Don Atchinson, Dr. Jawahar (Jay) Kalra, Tilly Ping, and the beautiful ladies modeling traditional Chinese dresses had a fantastic time at our booth. Special thanks to Terri Rau, Ralph Hellmuth, and Terice Coleman from Saskatoon Folkfest 2009. I would also like to acknowledge Chun Chen, manager of the Chinese Pavilion and Cao Chun Hua, President of the Federation of Saskatoon Chinese Canadian Organization for their continued support.
